Actually I think theu changed it because they were scared valve would get mad, not that it actually happened or anything. Even though plenty of portal named games out there…

I still find it absurd that someone can own the word “portal”. And this has come to pass with other companies/firms regarding distinct words in the past.

Disney has tried to trademark the term Dia de los Muertos

I believe they denied them the right to use the word in the game’s title, hence the name change. Less so the Pixel Worlds developers being afraid, more so just straight up not being allowed.

That’s ridiculous… I genuinely hate Disney.
