there is so much potential from aspects of the game that can be turned into a fun community event that i feel like pixel world has not capitalized or has not capitalized well enough, some ideas are:
[NOTE: The ideas that i show, i try to be very transparent with it. So there will be no need of huge involvement from the dev team / can be produced by the community itself too! if your a creator, etc that can push this idea and want to give this a shot, go wild]

Competitive Jet Race: Hosting a Jet Race Tournament will be ridiculously insane! there can be sets, brackets, and specific rules for example only using the basic plane. this idea can be interpreted without a huge Jet Race update and i feel like the community can touch on it

Competitive Nether Tournaments: for this one, it can be like a 1v1 format or a 2v2 format. where there could be tournaments where you fight someone yourself or partner up with a team to beat Nether the fastest! other stuff like how many monsters you kill, who gets the keys, and who takes less damage can be a factor of who wins in the end
(so its not a who exits faster wins, its more of a who gets more points in the run wins)
- Duels Tournament: can be used with battle lock, the arena is set similar to spleef but with more traps. can add specific tournament rules, like weapons, wings, etc.
Bring back to life old trends!
- Spleef
- Parkours
- Challenges
- Quizzes
but with your own twists or ideas into the minigames so its not
stale
